Find a treasure around every corner! Lucy Maud Montgomery called the Campbell home “the wonder castle of my childhood.” This site is also home to the Lake of Shining Waters and Anne’s enchanted bookcase.

This historical residence was the home of L.M. Montgomery in 1894-95 during her first year of teaching at the Bideford School. This museum covers three themes: shipbuilding; Parsons/Ministers and their contribution to the community; and Lucy Maud Montgomery.

Lucy Maud Montgomery taught at the school as her last teaching post on PEI in 1897-1898. The museum gives families, especially children an opportunity to see what it was like to have all grades together.
